ciel
1977年生まれ。東京在住。17歳で渡仏、フランス各地の音楽院（Conservatoire）でトランペット、オルガン、作曲理論、声楽を習得。2006年に帰国し、フリーランスの作曲家として活動を開始。オリジナル楽曲制作の他、CM音楽、映像音楽制作、アーティストへの楽曲提供等多数。2019年、ciel名義で環境音楽家としての活動を開始。「空のような環境音楽」を基本理念として、人のこころに空を見あげた時のような「静けさ」「解放感」「清らかさ」をもたらすようなサウンドを探求中。2021年1月にリリースしたアルバム「Meditations」から、「Heavenly breathing –practice-」がApple Music Electronics公式プレイリスト「Pure Meditation」に選出される。
